MEET RICKI

HI! I’m Ricki —a dance enthusiast who loves to help beginners go from two left feet to dancing and having fun! I’m LGBTQ friendly and am fluent in Spanish. I offer private lessons in salsa, bachata, and cumbia, all in a super chill, beginner-friendly space with mirrors in South San Jose. Other locations or studios may will incur additional fee.

If you are interested in a wedding dance or group lesson for a party, I’m great at that too! I was dancing with Oro Dance Co and Lux Mambo in Austin, TX before moving back home in 2024. There, I performed as a leader at Salsa socials including Salsa Congresses.

This required intensive practice, attending dance classes, socials, team practices, and many, many private dance lessons to get the skills needed to learn Mambo (dancing on 2) where previously I only danced Salsa On1. Be confident that I can teach you the basics, so you have fun and look good too! Please take advantage of my intro lesson so we can get a sense for how to move and work forward together.
